Beaumont Independent School District

Brown Center

The Paul A. Brown Center exhibits our District’s commitment to “All students deserve an education.” We are here to provide the additional chance to graduate and receive a BISD diploma, even if the student has dropped out or is in danger of dropping out. We are passionate about recovering students and providing a quality education.

It is very appropriate that our namesake is Judge Paul A. Brown, who is known for providing second chances to people. He is the spirit behind our endeavors and the supporter of our efforts. Our school demonstrates his philosophy that all people can achieve and succeed.

The Paul A. Brown Center offers accelerated credits, following BISD curriculum, and fulfilling all State graduation requirements. It is a school with a family atmosphere, dedicated staff, and small class sizes in order to accommodate the variety of needs our students present.

Enrollment Requirements:
Students who are currently enrolled in a BISD high school must be referred by a grade level counselor or assistant principal. A students who is enrolled in a private school, charter school, or is a drop out will need to contact the Paul Brown guidance office.
