Teacher Receives Award At Pietzsch-MacArthur
On December 7th, 2009 Shelly Gibbs, 5th grade teacher at Pietzsch-MacArthur received a surprise visit from the BEAMONT PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOUNDATION, INC. Mrs. Gibbs was one of the ten applicants from a field of 48 chosen to receive a Science grant valued at $994.57. The grant was titled “Science Divas and Science Kings Program.” The major objectives of the grant was to provide materials for exciting hands-on experiments . What a great Christmas present for Mrs. Gibbs and her students.
