Larry Payne is a crossing guard for students walking to and from school down Dowlen.
He starts his day at 7:45 and waves until 9:15, then again when school lets out until 4:30.

A small number of BISD students will spend October 19th – 22nd retaking the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) test.
