Retired from ExxonMobil Beaumont Refinery with 26 years of

Gwen Ambres represents District 4.  This is her first term as a trustee and was appointed to fill the vacant seat left by the passing of veteran trustee Howard Trahan in December 2010. A graduate of Lamar University, Ms. Ambres is retired from ExxonMobil Beaumont Refinery after 26 years of service.  She is an active volunteer in several community organizations such as; Boys Haven, Henry's Place Homless Shelter, Ozen HS, Key Communicators in Schools, the Beaumont Convention and VIsitors Bureau, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church.  Ms. Ambres enjoys being an umpire for girls softball, being a  volleyball official, and playing tennis.
