Mr. Howard J. Trahan Jr. represents Trustee District 4.  He has served as a Trustee for a total of 21 years and has been elected President of the group seven times.  Mr. Trahan has been employed by both Gulf States and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and is now retired.  He is well-known for his involvement with and contributions to local civic groups.  He and his wife, Loyce, have three sons and five grandchildren.
