Mike Neil
Trustee District 5
Mike Neil, represents Trustee District 5. Mike Neil was born and raised in Beaumont and graduated from Beaumont Charlton Pollard in 1978. He received his BBA in Marketing at Lamar University in 2007. Neil has also lived in Houston, Dallas, and Denver. He has been a businessman from over 25 years and has worked in the restaurant and retail industry.
Mr. Neil enjoys team building, people development, and problem solving. He is a guest speaker in local high schools representing the Julie Rogers Gift of Life program where he shares his story of being a cancer survivor.
Mr. Neil has been married to Elva Neil for 14 years. The Neil’s have a son, Jack who is a graduate of West Brook who has one son Skylar. Mr. Neil also has one stepdaughter, Jami, who is also graduate of West Brook and Lamar and is married to James Burns.
When Mr. Neil is not working he enjoys golf, the outdoors, and traveling.
