Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures

The safety of every student at Caldwood Elementary is our number one priority. In order to ensure that each and every student arrives home safely in the afternoons it is important that you send a note by your child or call the school at 409-617-6025 prior to 2:45pm with any changes in your child's transportation. If we have not received a note or a phone call, your child's mode of transportation will remain the same.

Reminders:

• Make sure to attach student badges to all K-2 students daily. This will ensure that our staff can easily identify your child's mode of transportation.
• All car pool vehivles must place student name cards in the vehicle so that they are visibly seen by our car pool staff.
• If you child is dismissed with the car pool group, please remain in your vehicle and proceed through the car pool line. For your safety and the safety of all students and staff do not congest the sidewalk in the car pool area where staff is assisting students to the car.
• If you would prefer to walk up to the school, change your child's mode of dismissal to "walker". Walkers are dismissed at the marquee of the school.
