History
Beaumont Early College was approved and designated by TEA Commissioner Mike Morath on April 19, 2016. We officially opened our doors on August 24, 2016 to a wonderful group of excited and motivated students. Beaumont Early College High School is an innovative 4 year public high school that partners with Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT). As such, BECHS students are dual enrolled at LIT and have access to the campus facilities. The program is designed to enroll up to 150 students per grade level.
