    Pathways Alternative Learning Center is a disciplinary alternative education program (DAEP) established in conformance with the Texas Education Code (TEC), §37.008, and this section is defined as an educational and self-discipline alternative instructional program, adopted by local policy, for students who are removed from their regular classes for mandatory or discretionary disciplinary reasons and placed in a DAEP. The mission of the Pathways Learning Center is to provide a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment that supports our students in the development of the attitudes, responsibilities, knowledge, and skills that are essential for success in school and society.
