Forensic Audit Information

In December 2014 Weaver LLP was engaged to perform a forensic audit on the 2007 bond construction project. The audit was concluded in 2015. The District is officially releasing the final report which can be read in full below.
The report primarily details transactions surrounding the various construction projects funded by the $388.6 million bond package approved by taxpayers in November 2007. The auditors were able to track the bond proceeds with the report noting misclassifications of funds and inaccurate accounting during the course of the bond projects.
The full report is over 2,700 pages and is divided into eight parts, which focuses primarily on a particular project or vendor.
