Dr. Donna Prudhomme - Director
Dr. Donna Prudhomme is the Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE) for Beaumont ISD. She has 25 years of experience in education. Previously, she served as the principal of Clifton J. Ozen Magnet High School, where she earned state accountability ratings of Met Standard and a state designation distinction in Science. She has also dedicated many years of service in roles such as assistant principal/magnet coordinator, high school and elementary counselor.
She earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Lamar University. Also, she earned a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling and a Master of Education Degree in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University and her Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She holds certifications in the area of Superintendent, Principal, School Counselor, and Classroom Teacher: Vocational Trades and Industry.
Dr. Prudhomme is a member of the Leadership Southeast Texas (LSET) class of 2019, Lamar University Department of Counseling Advisory Board, Career and Technology Association of Texas (CTAT), National Education Association (NEA), Region V College, Career, and Military Readiness Committee, Texas Education Agency (TEA) Tri-Agency Summit Committee, SETWAC Education, Research, and Workforce Development Subcommittee, Region V CTE Board, Chi Sigma Iota International Honor Society, Kappa Delta Phi International Honor Society, and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
She is a recipient of the Lowe's Toolbox of Education grant, Joseph B. Whitehead Educator of Distinction Award by the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, Vocational Excellence Award by the Rotary Club of Beaumont, and the Career and Technical Education Month Proclamation from the City of Beaumont. She served on the State Board for Educator Certification Review Committee, State of the Workforce panel with the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, and as a peer reviewer for the Texas Public Charter School Program Start-Up Grant.
Alicia Green - Coordinator of CTE Curriculum Instruction
Alicia Green has over 26 years of experience in education. Previously, she served as the Career & Technical Education Counselor at North Shore Sr. High School in Galena Park ISD for four years and business teacher for three years. She also held the position as Registrar Assistant at Fort Bend Hightower High School.
She earned an Associate of Applied Science Business and Computer Information Systems from Lamar Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences from Lamar University. Also, she earned a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University.
She holds certifications in the area of School Counselor, Business Education, Speech and Vocational Trades and Industry. Additionally, she received recognition in, Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic & Professional International Honor Society and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lamar Institute Technology. She was selected as CTE Counselor of the year in Galena Park ISD.
Mrs. Green served as a member of the Region V College, Career, and Military Readiness Committee, Texas Education Agency (TEA) Tri-Agency Summit Committee, SETWAC Education, Research, and Workforce Development Subcommittee, Region V CTE Board, and as a peer reviewer for the Texas Public Charter School Program Start-Up Grant.
