Public Records Requests

  • The BISD Police Department collects, maintains, files, and distributes records and reports according to the policies and procedures set forth by the Department as well as State and Federal guidelines.

    These records include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Arrest Reports
    • Incident Reports
    • Accident Reports
    • Supplemental Reports

     

    Requesting a Case Report/Accident Report:

    To request a case or accident report, requestors are required to fill out the form below. Please note that these reports must be picked up in person at the BISD Police Station located at 9275 Manion Dr. Beaumont TX 77706. Accident reports will incur a fee of $6.00 and there is no charge for case reports. Please allow 7-10 business days for preparation of the report. You will be contacted via the information provided when the report is available for pickup.

    Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

    The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that requires school districts, universities and other educational entities to maintain confidentiality with information concerning students enrolled in their schools and universities.

    Information is not allowed to be released that could identify any students enrolled in the school. Information that could lead to the identification of a student that is enrolled in school cannot be released without the parent/guardian written authorization.
