  • UPDATE -- 8/31/2020 -- 2:15pm --

Beaumont ISD is set to resume virtual learning for students on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, due to power being restored to campuses. All curbside meals will resume on Wednesday. For more information, refer to www.bmtisd.com/backtoschool.

All staff will return Tuesday, September 1, to meet virtually and prepare for Wednesday. Some of our staff may have evacuated to areas that may have high COVID-19 cases. Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, the majority of staff is assigned to work virtually from home until September 8, 2020. We are asking employees to self-monitor for any COVID-19 related symptoms.

The District anticipates the possibility of parents visiting our campuses who may need assistance with virtual learning and enrolling students displaced by Hurricane Laura. BISD will have some essential staff on-site to assist.

BISD understands that some of our families are still facing challenges due to effects from Hurricane Laura. Please contact your child’s teacher to discuss individual concerns if you have been affected.
