This account is to be used for the collection of monies to reimburse the district for lost library books. The Librarian is responsible for the receipt of monies from students by using an official BISD receipt book. Funds collected should be given to the bookkeeper/secretary for deposit immediately. At the end of the year, the Librarian will get a quote for the books that they want to purchase. A check from the activity fund will be written and deposited to general fund to reimburse the library budget. Standard purchasing procedures are then followed.
