Grad Success
  • Dropout Prevention

The Office of Dropout Prevention was created to expand efforts to reduce the dropout rate, increase the graduation rate, and recover and re-engage out of school youth. The Dropout Prevention, Intervention, and Recovery Program offers a personalized approach to educational services that supports students identified as potential dropouts. Working collectively with key stakeholders in the effort to maintain student engagement, reduce or remove barriers that hinder students' academic success.  We support re-engagement at the secondary level through College, Career, and Military Readiness. . Beaumont ISD Office of Dropout Prevention offers Alternative Education Programs that are striving to reduce the school dropout rate, increase the graduation rate, and help learners who are out of school and looking to return. To learn more, please contact the Campus Counselor, Administrators, or District Dropout Prevention Coordinator about the prevention programs available for your learner.

     Alternative Education for Credit Recovery

Paul Brown Alternative Learning Center offers students an alternative educational model with accelerated instruction.  Instruction is delivered by certified teachers, direct instructional contact, learning labs, student mentors, smaller class sizes, self-paced timelines, and student tutorials for instructional support.   Instructors are assessable during the optional flexible school day hours Monday-Friday to support students in need of remediation and intervention.
