Families of the Class of 2023,
The Beaumont Independent School District invites the community to attend the upcoming commencement exercises for the class of 2023:
Early College High School at 7 p.m. May 19 at the West Brook PAC
Beaumont United High School at 10 a.m. May 20 at Ford Park Arena
West Brook High School at 4 p.m. May 20 at Ford Park Arena
Doors will open one hour prior to the event.
In addition, increased security measures will be taken to ensure the safety of our students and guests, including the implementation of visual bag checks and metal detectors. Please anticipate delays and be prepared to comply with directions and requests from district officers.
Our goal is to ensure that our students and their guests are able to experience graduation to the fullest extent. As a result, we respectfully ask that you keep the following in mind if you plan to attend:
- Please refrain from bringing balloons, oversized signs, or pictures of graduates, also known as “fatheads,” as this prohibits other guests from seeing their graduates.
- Please remain seated throughout the program as to not prohibit other guests from seeing their graduates. A photographer will be taking photos of all the students, which will be made available for download to the public free of charge.
- Please do not bring any type of horn or noise-making device that will prohibit others from clearly hearing as their graduate’s name is called.
Guests who are unable to attend will have the advantage of viewing the ceremonies via live streaming at www.bmtisd.com/graduation2023
The District is excited to celebrate this milestone in our students’ educational experience alongside the Beaumont community. We hope that you are able to share in this joyous experience and look forward to seeing you at graduation.
