Program Overview

  • BRACE: Elevate, formerly Beaumont ISD’s Grow Our Own Program, was established in 2023 in partnership with Beaumont ISD, Capturing Kids’ Hearts /TeachWorthy, and Region V ESC. The program serves current Beaumont employees who are pursuing teacher certification. After completing the program and earning standard certification, graduates agree to complete two years of teaching for Beaumont ISD. 



     

     

Follow These Steps to Elevate

    • STEP 1:  Apply for a BISD Position 
    • STEP 2: Apply for BRACE Elevate Pathway 
    • STEP 3: Interview with BRACE Team
      • The interview and selection process will be within a two-week window following application submission.
    • STEP 4: Apply to an Alternative Certification Program(ACP): 
      • Region 4 (Bilingual)
      • Region 5
      • Teachworthy
    • STEP 5: Notify BRACE Team of ACP Acceptance
      • Sign Memorandum of Understanding
    • STEP 6: Begin ACP Coursework
