Pathway to help Beaumont ISD employees earn a bachelor’s degree and teaching certification at no cost to them. Beaumont ISD fills positions with structured support, ongoing training and learning, and a commitment to remain with Beaumont ISD for two years upon certification.

Through our amazing partnerships with Beaumont ISD and other educational entities, you can will gain valuable classroom teaching experience and receive structured support.

Follow These Steps to Become Equip

- STEP 1: Apply for the BRACE Program
- Must work for Beaumont ISD for one full-year
- 60+ college credits preferred
- STEP 2: Begin Teachworthy Courses
- Must complete all coursework before being eligible for BISD courses.
- STEP 3: Begin BISD Courses
- Must complete all coursework before being eligible for BRACE teacher positions and IWU courses.
- STEP 4: Apply for BRACE
- Teacher Position
- STEP 5: Begin Teaching and IWU Coursework
- Continue until all coursework is complete
- STEP 6: Graduate! Complete Teachworthy Internship
- Work as a certified teacher on intern certification
- STEP 1: Apply for the BRACE Program
