Thomas Sigee, Sr. - Member

Thomas P. Sigee, Sr. is a graduate of Beaumont Charlton-Pollard High School (1979). Following graduation, he joined the U.S. Army, an adventure that afforded him the ability to travel the world. To this day, he has visited more than 60 countries. During his career, he worked with nuclear missiles, patriot missiles, in personnel, with logistics, and the Corps of Engineers.

Mr. Sigee is married to Alicia D. Sigee, Ed.D., and together they have 5 children. All are proud graduates of BISD. This is Mr. Sigee's second appearance on the board, having served as president from 2019-2021. 

Mr. Sigee was involved in the rebuilding of Iraq (Iraq War), New Orleans (Hurricane Katrina), and Southeast Texas (Hurricane Rita). During his 32-year career, he has received 19 medals and ribbons, the highest being the Bronze Star with and Oak Leaf Cluster. He is heavily involved in the community, starting mentorship programs as well as working with the BISD ROAR program at several schools in the district.
