National School Lunch Week

BISD is celebrating National School Lunch Week, October 16 and 17, 2025!

Get ready to take off! As we embark on another journey across the globe with National School Lunch Week 2025: Taste the World – Your School Lunch Passport, we invite you to join us for amazing new adventures! School lunches are the most nutritious meals that someone can consume. By introducing healthy foods to students early on and throughout their school years, they will learn to prefer healthier foods and realize the connection between eating and fueling your mind and body!

Join Us and Eat School Lunch With Your Student

Parents are invited to visit their child's campus and enjoy a nutritious and delicious school lunch on Thursday, October 16, and Friday, October 17, 2025! Meals are only $5.25 each for participating adults.  Contact your child's campus for specific lunch schedules and details.

As a reminder, all parents who elect to attend lunch with their child must comply with the district's conduct expectations. Parents are not permitted to take pictures or videos while on campus.  Failure to comply with the expectations will result in the removal of lunch attendance privileges.
