Behind the Screens, Beyond the Call: Pavi Watson Named March Employee of the Month

Employee of the Month Pavi Watson poses with her framed certificate.

Beaumont ISD has named Information Technology Support Specialist II Pavi Watson as its March 2026 Employee of the Month, recognizing her exceptional service, collaborative spirit, and transformative impact on technology support across the district.

Nominated by Career and Technical Education Center Principal Dr. Lori Threats and recognized by Director of Technology Ryan Deloney, Watson is widely praised for her innovative, solutions-oriented approach and her ability to turn complex technical challenges into clear, practical outcomes for staff.

Colleagues say Watson’s effectiveness begins with her ability to listen. Through active listening, she is able to fully understand concerns—even when staff members struggle to describe issues in technical terms. She then translates those concerns into solutions that enhance productivity and ensure technology serves as a support system rather than a barrier to success.

Watson’s responsiveness has also set her apart. Staff members note her remarkable speed in acknowledging and resolving issues, often exceeding expectations. When challenges require additional expertise, she collaborates seamlessly with other members of the IT team to ensure timely and effective resolutions, providing reassurance and confidence to those she serves.

Beyond her technical skills, Watson has earned recognition for fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusion. She creates an environment where all voices are heard while maintaining a focus on actionable solutions. Her ability to balance professionalism with approachability has strengthened communication and teamwork across campuses.

Her impact has extended far beyond a single campus. Multiple schools have expressed a desire to have Watson assigned to their sites—an indication of the high regard in which she is held districtwide. Her knowledge, creativity, and experience have elevated technology processes and improved efficiency throughout Beaumont ISD.

“It is both a joy and a privilege to have Pavi assigned to our campus,” said Dr. Threats in her nomination. “Her professionalism, generosity, and unwavering commitment to excellence inspire us daily. The positive and lasting difference she makes cannot be overstated.”

Watson’s recognition as Employee of the Month underscores her vital role in supporting educators and staff, ensuring that technology enhances teaching and learning across BISD.

Watson received a commemorative plaque and $350 in prizes donated by community sponsors.

The BISD Employee of the Month program recognizes staff members who exemplify the district’s core values of service, integrity, and excellence.
