Employee/Substitute Access

All Access

All employee access starts with Human Resources. This includes Long Term Subs (LTS) and their role needs to be identified as such to Human Resources.  

Access Cards

Access "cards" are controlled by the "Pay Location" field in TEAMS, which is managed by Human Resources.

Substitutes

Scheduling of teachers is a campus responsibility, but if a sub is not defined as an LTS and/or is not scheduled correctly, then they will not be granted access to any of our third-party programs. 

To be "scheduled properly," an LTS must:

  1. Be identified as an LTS
  2. Be assigned to a PCN with a schedule.
  3. The course section assigned must have the "Show Substitute Name: YES" Turned on.

Student & Financial Data

If an employee has access to TEAMS but does not have the appropriate clearances for "student" data, then those requests should go to Student Services.

If an employee needs finance data privileges, these requests go to the business office.
