The mission of the Internal Audit Department is to add value and improve District operations by supporting the Beaumont Independent School District Board of Managers, Superintendent, and other members of management by providing assurance and consulting services.  We use an independent, objective, systematic, risk-based approach to present analyses, recommendations, counsel, and information which assess and improve the District's risk management, control, and governance processes thereby helping the District achieve its goals.   Our efforts promote integrity and accountability in all District functions; by this means, we bring value to the citizens and children of Beaumont, Texas.
