HOW DO I ENROLL/REGISTER MY STUDENT?

 

Parents/Guardians should review and answer the guiding questions below to assist with processing enrollment/registration for their student(s).
Note: Questions apply to individual students even if residing in the same household.


  1. Are you a full-time district employee seeking to register/enroll the student at the campus zoned to your primary work station (the campus or location where you work)?
    1. Yes – Stop. Contact Student Services Dept. at 409-617-5109 for assistance
    2. No – Continue to Question 2.
  2. Does the parent/legal guardian reside at an address located within the boundaries of BISD?
    1. Yes – Continue to Question 3.
    2. No – Stop. Contact Student Services Dept. at 409-617-5109 for assistance.
  3. Was the student enrolled in a BISD campus on the last day of school in the prior school year?
    1. Yes – your student is classified as a Returning Student. Save time, avoid lines, you are eligible to complete registration for the student online. Click here to access instructions.
    2. No – Continue to Question 4.
  4. Is the student brand new to BISD, that is, the student has never been enrolled in any BISD school at any point in time, for any type of service?
    1. Yes – your student is classified as a New Student. Welcome to the BISD Family! Review the Enrollment Checklist, gather the necessary support documents and then visit the zoned campus in person to enroll your student.
    2. No – Continue to Question 5.
  5. Was the student ever enrolled in a BISD school at any point in time, but withdrew, and now wants to return to reactivate enrollment in BISD?
    1. Yes – your student is classified as a Prior Student. Welcome Back! Review the Enrollment Checklist, gather necessary support documents and  then visit the zoned campus in person to reactivate your student’s enrollment.
    2. No – If you feel none of the questions above apply to the student, visit or contact the Student Services Dept. at 409-617-5109 for additional assistance.
