Child Guidance

The Teaching and Training program prepares students for careers related to teaching, instruction, and creation of instructional and enrichment materials. The program introduces students to a wide variety of student groups and their corresponding needs. It familiarizes them with the process for developing curriculum, coordinating content, and coaching groups and individuals. Students obtain certification through Region 5 ESC allowing them to work as paraprofessionals in the classroom.
