History
Beaumont Early College was approved and designated by TEA Commissioner Mike Morath on April 19, 2016. We officially opened our doors on August 24, 2016 to a wonderful group of excited and motivated students. Beaumont Early College High School is an innovative 4 year public high school that partners with Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT) that will by the end of 2019-2020 school year have a potential enrollment of 450 students in grades 9-12. Students attending the Beaumont Early College High School are also dual enrolled at LIT and have access to the campuses facilities. Currently, we have an enrollment of approximately 240 students in grades 9-11. The school opened in the fall of 2016 and will graduate its first class in May of 2020.
