Adapting to the pandemic has not been an easy feat for most of us, especially when it comes to education. We have heard your challenges and reservations, and we are continually evolving and implementing new ideas to do our best to support our community.

As a BISD family, it is our goal to ensure that all of our students succeed and we intend to do this by meeting our stakeholders at their places of need. We are launching a new campaign called Support Engage Adapt (SEA) that addresses how we will approach some challenges that we as a district are facing. 

Support is essential as we move forward through this pandemic. The SEA website helps all stakeholders to key in on what assistance, programs, solutions are available for our BISD families and staff. 

The District seeks to engage our stakeholders by hosting regular informational meetings and through the platform Thoughtexchange. Thoughtexchange allows individuals to provide input on subjects including possible initiatives, how the district can improve, support for staff and more.

Using the feedback provided by our stakeholders, district staff will debrief the research and develop strategies to adapt to the needs highlighted in the exchanges. As soon as planning is complete, the district will communicate changes and initiatives to the community using the SEA website and district social media pages.
