Future Ready Students

Preparing students for the future means equipping them with the skills to navigate a world where AI is ever-present. Understanding and engaging with AI is no longer just an academic advantage—it’s essential for success in today’s workforce and the careers of tomorrow. By fostering responsible and effective AI use, we are not just teaching students about technology; we are empowering them to lead in an AI-driven world.
As AI becomes part of the educational experience, it’s crucial to address potential misuse and guide students toward ethical, thoughtful, and productive engagement with this powerful tool.

What Misuse of AI looks like:

  • Ways to cheat.

  • Replacing critical thinking.

  • Using AI to do all work.

  • Using AI on a Test unless  given permission.

What correct use of AI looks like:

  • Using AI to give broad ideas.

  • Using AI as a tutor.

  • Using AI as a research assistant

  • Planning partner.

Teachers can give students signals on what AI use is acceptable and unacceptable for assignments.  Here is an example of AI signals.
