  • Progress Report and Final Grades Guidance for Paper Packet Learning

    Progress report grades will be issued based upon the grade assigned to packet 1 in accordance with the rubrics in this section as well as student engagement and responsiveness in the learning process throughout the progress cycle. The Fourth Nine Weeks report card grade will be determined based upon a holistic review of student achievement and engagement during the grading period including assessment of all work submitted in the paper packet in accordance with the packet grading rubric in Section C. Note, the grade reported on the report card for the Fourth Nine Weeks shall be the higher of the Third Nine Weeks and the grade earned for participation in the Fourth Nine Weeks Flexible Education Program.

     

    Progress Report and Final Grades Guidance for Online Learning

    Student’s will be evaluated based upon three factors: 1) completion of work assigned and monitored by the teacher through progression reports 2) time spent actively engaged with the program utilizing task reports, and 3) The student’s engagement and attempt to obtain mastery of the concepts assigned. Teachers should use the table below to assess the student’s progression and task reports.

    Progression: Minimal completion of work for the progress period (less than 50%).

    OR

    Task Report: Logged less than 4 hours for each core content program for the progress period.

    Progression: Completion of some work for the progress period (Less than 75%).  

    OR

    Task Report:  Logged between 4–12 hours on each core content program for the progress period.

    Progression:  Completed all work for the progress period. 


    OR

    Task Report: Logged 12+ hours on each core content program for the progress period.  


    Final Grade

    Progression: No access of online systems. 


    Task Report: No access of online systems.

    Progression: Minimal completion of work less than 50%).

    OR

    Task Report: Logged less than 8 hours on each core content program.

    Progression: Completion of some work (less than 75%).  


    OR

    Task Report:  Logged between 8 – 24 hours on each core content program.

    Progression:  Completed all program work. 


    OR

    Task Report: Logged 24+ hours on each core content program.
