On Thursday, October 22, 2015 students from Central HS were given the unique opportunity to learn more about how C-SPAN produces content and broadcasts from remote locations while on the campaign trail as well as the many contributions C-SPAN makes to promoting public access to the political process.
The C-SPAN Bus travels the country to promote and enhance C-SPAN’s extensive resources and public access to the political process. Additionally, the bus travels around the nation, giving students an inside look at C-SPAN’s comprehensive educational and political resources.
While aboard the bus, students learned about the following programming and resources via interactive technology:
C-SPAN’s in-depth public affairs event coverage
C-SPAN’s web offerings, including archived video going back to 1987 through C-SPAN’s robust website
Many ways to connect with C-SPAN including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, XM Radio, and mobile apps
Interactive quizzes to test their knowledge about the political process and the key figures whom have shaped America.
