BISD Appoints New Community Relations Positions
On Monday, January 11, 2016, Superintendent Dr. John Frossard appointed two new positions in the Office of Community Relations.
Adam Thibodeaux has been selected as Marketing and Multimedia Specialist. Thibodeaux has been serving as District Webmaster for BISD for the past five years and will be transitioning into his new role. Thibodeaux grew up in Port Neches and graduated from The Dan Rather School of Mass Communications at Sam Houston State University with a degree in Public Relations. Before coming to BISD, he worked as an analyst for a major financial firm in Houston while doing freelance public relations projects for clients such as The Harris County Health Alliance, City of Houston Health and Human Services Department, Memorial Hermann Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and several others. Thibodeaux is an active member in the community volunteering and serving many local organizations. He is also a part-time Music Minister at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches, where he can regularly be found when not working at BISD. Thibodeaux is happily married to his wife Kelsey, who is also a member of the BISD family as art teacher at Roy Guess Elementary. Debbie Bridgeman has been selected as the Community Relations Specialist. Bridgeman grew up in Austin, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Communications. She was a radio programmer for nearly 20 years, working at radio stations in Texas, Kentucky, Missouri, and West Virginia. In 2006, Bridgeman joined the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas and was the Communications Director for nearly 10 years. She has served on the board for the Press Club of Southeast Texas for over 10 years, leading as President in 2009. Bridgeman donates her time as a Cub Scout Den Mother, Karate Mom, and volunteer at Praise Church, as well as a Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and Communications Division member. She has been married for 13 years to Jason, the graphic designer at Fast Signs. Their son, Chase, is a 5th grade student at Roy Guess Elementary, where she has served as a PTA board member since 2012. To learn more about Debbie and for a listing of qualifications click here.
