Beaumont Public Schools Foundation Awards Spring Grants
The Beaumont Public Schools Foundation, Inc. (BPSF) awarded nine BISD staff and three student grants on May 13, 2016 totaling $11,423.04 for innovative classroom projects that enhance curriculum and stimulate learning. The BPSF was able to increase the amount of grants awarded this semester thanks to a generous donation from ExxonMobil. Since the awards program began in 1993, 351 BISD staff and students have received grants totaling $236,424.88. Along with the grant program, 100 BISD graduating seniors have also received scholarships totaling $65,500.
