Central Receives Equipment From Baptist Hospital
Central High School received 17 new stethoscopes, two stretchers and two portable vital signs machines that have been performance tested. “I'm elated and I'm sure the students will be as well,” said Central Health Science Technology teacher Lovette Martin. “The donation will be a great asset to the Medical Magnet Program.” Baptist Hospital presented the items on October 3, 2016.
“We are happy to be able to donate these items to Central,” said Baptist Volunteer Coordinator Brandi Neeb, who was on hand when the items were delivered to the campus. “The students get to keep their stethoscopes and hopefully will use them when they start their career in the medical field.”
