Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT) hosted Hispanic Heritage Day on October 12, 2016 at the LIT Multi-Purpose Center. English Spanish Language (ESL) middle school students from King, Vincent and South Park attended the event. The program included folkloric dancing, lunch and music. BISD Chief of Police Rob Flores was the keynote speaker.
