On Thursday, October 13, Fehl-Price 5th grade teacher, Nicole Guidry was awarded a $500 grant from the Beaumont Chapter of Prairie View A&M Alumni Association. The grant was presented to Ms. Guidry and some of her students by the treasurer, Mr. Marvin Brailsford. Ms. Guidry plans to buy high interest books for her classroom and an after school book club she is starting. Her students said they are excited to get new books to read by some of their favorite authors.
