BISD Recognizes Key Communicators
Key Communicators is a Beaumont ISD initiative that consists of local community members who work with elementary and secondary campuses to mentor and support students during group campus-based sessions. Members were recognized during a program in the BISD board room May 17. BISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Frossard, Associate Superintendent of Secondary Schools Dr. Shannon Allen Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction Jenny Angelo, Director of Counseling Services Rachel Guidry and Calder Baptist Church Dr. James Fuller, were in attendance to acknowledge outstanding students from secondary schools. “These young students have excelled beyond their academic activities; they are a good example of role model students,” said Fuller. He told participants, “We need people like you to be an example to follow. It is important to see how you can be an inspiration for other students”.
