Ozen Students Focus on College and Career Readiness
Fifteen Clifton J. Ozen Magnet High School seniors completed the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) assessment for admittance into the Lamar Center for Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship. The program is a partnership with the Golden Triangle Empowerment Center that prepares participants for placement and long term employment.
“Each senior receives a $6,000.00 scholarship for workforce training in the field of construction, maritime or hospitality,” said Ozen College & Career Readiness Coordinator Eva LeBlanc. “I’m excited in assisting with this training opportunity for Ozen High School seniors.”
