A Fond Farewell

As Beaumont ISD closes the chapter on three pillars of the community's educational foundation, the public is cordially invited to a farewell celebration on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., in the parking lot of Central High School at 88 Jaguar Drive, near South Street. This occasion will offer a formal recognition of the building before its scheduled demolition this June.

Beaumont High School, Beaumont Charlton-Pollard High School, and Central High School, each holds a cherished place in the memories of generations past and present. The farewell tribute to the building that housed those three schools will be notable, featuring remarks from representatives of each school, members of the BISD Board, and the Superintendent.

Community members are encouraged to take the opportunity to capture one last memory in front of the historic structure and sign up to receive a memorable brick from the building, while supplies last.

Those unable to attend the event will be able to buy photos of the building online at Making this purchase will preserve a piece of BISD history and also contribute to the Beaumont ISD Maintenance and Operations Department, ensuring the legacy of the District’s most venerable institutions endures through the care of the facilities.

Stories and photos of Beaumont High, BCP, and Central are being collected for the program and will be shared across the District's social media pages and website. The goal is to allow everyone to reminisce and celebrate the legacy of these beloved schools. Please use the jotform link to make a  contribution.
