Beaumont ISD will host the second annual College, Career and Military Readiness (CCMR) Fair through a digital platform to launch Feb. 17, 2021.

The objective of the fair is to introduce students to different professions, explore various colleges and universities, feature Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in the District, offer information regarding military opportunities and provide resources about employment or workforce development.

Each presenter has their own account with the Bulb Digital Platform and can upload information, including videos and audio. Starting February 17, students and their families can access it anytime, from any device through the end of the school year at www.bulbapp.com/CCMRVirtualFair.

“The fair is not a live virtual event, but rather a digital platform that can be seen at any time,” explained Coordinator of Business and Industry Eva LeBlanc. “It’s very user-friendly and we hope to keep the virtual component as a supplemental resource in the future when we can conduct the fair in person again.”

The CCMR Virtual Fair is part of “A Salute to Southeast Texas Workforce” month, including the Youth Career Expo to be hosted online each Thursday in February.
