Graduation Regulations

The Beaumont Independent School District invites everyone to attend upcoming commencement exercises for the Class of 2024.

All ceremonies will take place at Doggett Ford Arena on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the following times:

Early College High School - 9 a.m.
Beaumont United High School - 12 p.m.
West Brook High School - 4 p.m.

Doors will open one hour prior to each event.

In addition, increased security measures will be taken to ensure the safety of our students and guests, including the implementation of visual bag checks and metal detectors. Please anticipate delays and be prepared to comply with directions and requests from District officers.

The goal is to ensure that our students and their guests are able to positively experience graduation to the fullest extent. As a result, we respectfully ask that attendees keep the following in mind:

  • Please refrain from bringing balloons, oversized signs, or pictures of graduates, also known as “fatheads,” as this prohibits other guests from seeing their graduates.

  • Please remain seated throughout the program as to not prohibit other guests from seeing their graduates. A photographer will be taking photos of all the students. Those pictures will be made available for download to the public, free of charge.

  • Please do not bring any type of horn or noise-making device that will prohibit others from clearly hearing as their graduate’s name is called.

Guests who are unable to attend will have the advantage of viewing the ceremonies via live streaming at www.bmtisd.com/graduation2024

The District is excited to celebrate this milestone in students’ educational lives alongside the Beaumont community. We hope that you are able to share in this joyous experience and look forward to seeing you at graduation.
