Parent Resource Nights are being held to help parents learn how to support their child’s success. Free resources and books are provided to take home and parents can learn how to help their student achieve high scores on STAAR testing and about the BISD free Kindle Fire Lending Program.
“The District Parent Resource Nights are a wonderful way for parents to engage in their child’s learning at home and have the opportunity to talk to district content experts,” said Curriculum and Instruction Executive Director Jenny Angelo.
The fourth-grade night will be held at 6 p.m. February 11 in the BISD Boardroom located at 3395 Harrison Ave. Middle school is scheduled for February 19 and third-grade on March 4. Child care is provided for ages three and up.
