Enrollment Forms
The Beaumont Independent School District welcomes all students who meet applicable age, eligibility, bona fide residence, and health requirements. Parents/Legal Guardians are required to complete annual enrollment/registration for students as outlined below.
RETURNING STUDENTS
Students who were enrolled in a Beaumont ISD school on the last day of the prior school year, should complete online registration and verify residency information during this process. If the parent/guardian has moved and the address on file differs from the address in the district’s database, the parent/legal guardian will be required to submit a Change of Address Form along with two required forms of residency documentation as outlined on the enrollment checklist.

SPECIAL ENROLLMENT/REGISTRATION CONDITIONS
Displaced Students - Students Impacted by Loss of Permanent Housting
If you are living in a motel/hotel, shelter, car, abandoned building, in the park, or staying with another family due to an urgent need for temporary shelter as a result loss of permanent housing (i.e. eviction, foreclosure, fire, flood, violence, natural disaster, devastating hardship, etc.,) your children may still be eligible to enroll in school.
Because your situation will require further evaluation, please contact/visit the nearest school office or contact/visit the Student Services Department at the Administration Building located at 3395 Harrison, Beaumont, TX 77706 - Phone: 409-617-5109 to receive assistance with enrollment. You may also download the residency evaluation questionnaire and informational brochure below.

Foster Care Students
When children can't live safely at home and an appropriate non-custodial parent, relative, or close family friend is currently unable or unwilling to care for them, the court can give temporary legal possession to Children Protective Services (CPS) and that agency temporarily places theses children in foster care. Foster care students are still eligible to enroll in school.
For enrollment/registration assistance, please contact Foster Care Liaison:

Sharing a Residence with Family/Friends
Parents/legal guardians and their students who are living long-term with another BISD family through a mutual, cooperative agreement, (such as roommates/families sharing living expenses; a domestic partnership or relationship, an adult child who still resides in the home with parents, etc.,) but do not currently have residency documents in their name, may seek provisional enrollment for their student using a Shared Residency Affidavit. Both the parent/legal guardian and homeowner/renter must complete the affidavit and sign in the presence of a notary public. The notarized affidavit along with all required documents must be presented to the Student Services Department for review. Upon validation by the Student Services Department, this affidavit and provisional clearance may be presented to the campus and will allow a 30 day enrollment into the district while the parent/guardian secures required residency documentation.
Note: The use of this affidavit does not necessarily guarantee enrollment into a particular campus within a particular school attendance zone. The District reserves the right to assign the campus the student will attend until residency is fully established.

Students Enrolled in Violation of Board Policy
A student who enrolls in a school other than the one that serves the student's attendance zone without an approved transfer OR falsely under a shared residency affidavit, or as a homeless student shall be subject to immediate withdrawal from the district or return to the designated neighborhood campus.
All residency documents are subject to verification by school officials and if falsification of information is determined, the district may pursue criminal charges in accordance with Section 37.10, Penal Code.
