Do students have to maintain a minimum GPA?

In order to remain in Good Academic Standing, students must maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher with LIT - this is referred to as Satisfactory Academic Progress.  If a student falls below that threshold, he/she will be placed on a level of Academic Warning, Probation, or Suspension depending on the GPA and how many semesters it has fallen below 2.0.  Details can be found on LIT's website by going here.  If a student is placed on Academic Warning, Probation, or Suspension it could result in the need to withdraw from Beaumont ECHS and move to the student's zoned campus.
